[medit-plants] Re: When is a rose NOT a rose?

Cistus albidum, photo attached, originally collected in Aude France. My plant grew enormous in a tunnel in the UK but was zapped by a frost this Spring

Kind regards

Subject: [medit-plants] When is a rose NOT a rose?

Hello wise people,

I saw these flowers recently and thought they were roses but on closer inspection the do not look correct. The leaves now look like a rock rose but the flower color is unlike any I’ve seen. Maybe something else entirely?

Steve
