As a nurseryman I have to throw in my 2 cents worth. Plants do not worry about their fertilizer. They are not picky like humans when it comes to diet. If you supply all the basic nutrients they will use what they need for optimum growth. The myth of specialized fertilizers for certain genera of plants was promulgated by the fertilzer industry to expand their market share and profit margin. Joe.
