Thanks to Margaret Moir on grevilleas in Australia. There are
some on her list that, alas, are not here in the US yet, though many are
available through the UCSC Arboretum most of the year. When we had the terrible
freeze in 1990, at that time I had over 60 species and hybrids. I lost one that
had been recently planted. The temperature got down to 14 (F) for about four
days. But the sun never hit any of them because it was January and my garden
gets pretty shady at that time. No doubt I should have lost a lot if I had them
on an exposed place.
