grevilleas

Thanks to Margaret Moir on grevilleas in Australia. There are some on her list that, alas, are not here in the US yet, though many are available through the UCSC Arboretum most of the year. When we had the terrible freeze in 1990, at that time I had over 60 species and hybrids. I lost one that had been recently planted. The temperature got down to 14 (F) for about four days. But the sun never hit any of them because it was January and my garden gets pretty shady at that time. No doubt I should have lost a lot if I had them on an exposed place.
