Live oak hybrids

Hello,

Has anyone ever tried any of the live oak hybrids with deciduous oaks. A 
catalog in Pennsylvania had listed a live oak (Q. virginiana) and white oak 
(Q. alba) hybrid, which was hardy only to Zone 7.

Has anyone in more temperate zones (6 and below) tried any of the Mexican 
oaks? I know Yucca Do use to list them.
