Well, I'll simultaneously accept the majority vote and let myself off since: (a) I never saw the fabled flowers! (b) the foliage certainly didn't look that distinguished when it was visibly rotting as I looked at it! One of those occasions when the strictly *pseudo*-Mediterranean gardener gets found out, I guess... Tim Longville
