Hi all,
I have only recently subscribed to this forum and this is my
first contribution(!!) from the east coast of Spain and I am relatively
inexperienced in gardening anywhere let alone in the Med. So I am hoping
to learn.
Unlike the good weather that some of you have been
experiencing with the resultant flowering treasures in the garden, we have had
rather unusually bad weather for November with high winds, storms, heavy rain,
cold (even snow in the hills), etc. So the garden looks as if a hurricane
passed through. So winter clean up will probably start earlier than usual
in this part of the world.
Maybe someone can advise if I can detach a baby Washingtonia
(about 4ft tall growing at 45 degree angle) from the parent plant (15ft) without
any damage to either plant if poss.
