Welcome to the list, Maria, here's a link to a page that details how to
transplant palms. Washingtonia robusta is mentioned in the article.
Fortunately it seems root initiation is high in transplanted W. robustas
(i assume W. filifera should be similar if that's the species you have).
Also, your palm being small, it might handle transplanting well.
