Hymenolepis (Athanasia) parviflora

I've been looking form information about Hymenolepis (Athanasia)
parviflora, apparently an Australian native in the Asteraceae.  This
species is one of the plants to be found growing untended on our
local Alcatraz Island here in San Francisco Bay, and I've heard at
least one horticulturist friend extol its virtues.  I have not seen
the plant but consider that it might be a good candidate for a dry
garden I am planning.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.
