Re: Fig lore


Cali, thanks for the "Fig lore."  I had wondered what happened to my
faculties and I guess I can blame it on that cozy nap I took beneath a fig
tree long ago.  Oh well....  The choped fig aperitif sounds.....  well,
interesting, to say the least.  Do you steam the vineleaves or just use
them fresh and crunchy?  I envision a bunch of people sitting arounda table
with loud greek music, sipping ouzo (definitely an aquired taste) and
nibbling tiny bites and perspiring profusely.  Hmmmm, think I'll lay off
those foreign movies for a while!
