I absolutely concur with Nan's endorsement of the Australian A-Z of garden
plants "Botanica" This magnificent tome is the perfect companion for the
R.H.S. A-Z encyclopedia. It covers the same plants but with more emphasis
on the tender subjects. It also comes with a CD. rom disc of plant pics.
Aloes for instance are given three and a half pages, Protea over
two pages. All with excellent photographic coverage for good identification
purposes. A good price too, about £32. I believe it can be got from
