I have a plant that has a woody stem & had bright green leaves,
appearing on the stem as bunches of 5 or 6. I noticed it blooming for
the first time & it has a huge lily like flower that points straight up
toward Heaven. It's an offwhite flower with dark red stripes inside the
flower. The leaves remind me of Jewels of Opar (Talinum) Any
suggestions on what the name (Scientific & common) are would be greatly
appreciated. Since I don't have a digital camera, (only took a couple
photos with my 35mm camera), I can't include a jpeg at this time.
