Hmmm - I have put in 57 cuttings so far and lost the lot. Most of them have
been branched cuttings - and under plastic. I have even mixed up older
cuttings and younger cuttings. I started a couple of months ago when the
weather was milder but mild v very warm didn't change much either. It is
actually beginning to bug me because I can usually grow most things quite
well (so long as it isn't in the front garden of course!).
I am going to try again tonight.

This is very strange. As far as I know the usual method of
propagation is to
beg (preferably) or steal (if necesary) a sprig of rosemary and
stick it in a
pot or even the ground! I've done both .... I did lose one when I
failed to
notice it was in a sprinkler shadow during a hot spell, but it had
started to
grow on nicely during the cooler weather. No doubt some protection
would help
in the warmer weather until the plant becomes established.
