I would try to keep the Cistus cuttings outdoors, in a
protected area, not too much wind and half shade. If it doesn't work try it
again a bit later, the wood has to be just "ripe", with new growth
starting with the autumn rains on the hardened wood of the summer.
If you have seeds, Cistus are easy to propagate by
seeds. But you often have hybrids when the seeds are collected in a garden
having different Cistus.
By the way, what Cistus is it you are trying to propagate ? Do
you know the name ?
