My tree in the front yard(north Berkeley, regular
afternoon winds) gets quite abit of wind on a regular
basis, with no mildew or other problems, but doesn't
bloom nearly as much as it should, or as early in the
season, as it would with more heat...  I agree that
the bark is quite lovely as its own reward, but I sure
would like to see more flowers occasionally as well!
