While I am still in the depths of darkness with
respect to designing my garden - well its two steps forward one step back and
today was a big step back so I'm being negative - I am trying to produce as much
plant material as I can from what remains of my previous attempts at
horticulture. I have two varieties of Ceanothus which are both flowering madly
at the moment and I am wondering if it is better to try and raise seedlings or
take cuttings? Any suggestions? If I take cuttings are they spring things, ie
semi soft wood, or autumn, ie hardened tips?
