New Lists: Lamiaceae-L and Asteraceae-L

Hello!

I'd like to announce the formation of the Lamiaceae-L and Asteraceae-L
e-mail discussion forums devoted specifically to the Mint Family of
plants, Lamiaceae (Labiatae), and the Aster family, Asteraceae
(Compositae) respectively, and the surrounding issues: care,
cultivation, propagation, taxonomy, economics, ethnobotany, chemistry,
and of course, beauty and aesthetics. 

Further details about Lamiaceae-L and Asteraceae-L can be found at the

Many features are forthcoming for the Lamiaceae-L and Asteraceae-L
homepages, but at present they includes partial, temporary genus lists
for the Lamiacea amd Asteraceae families to help users who may be less
familiar with the genera of these families whether a particular genus
or specie is on-topic for the Lamiaceae-L list or Asteraceae-L lists.

You can subscribe to Lamiaceae-L and Asteraceae-L by using the
