Tropaeolum speciosa

Has anyone had any success growing Tropaeolum speciosum in a pot on a north-facing wall (i.e. no sun
at all from early autumn to late spring, and in summer only early mornings and evenings)? We are 300
metres from the sea, also to the north, with some fiarly bitter winter winds, but the plant would be
somewhat sheltered by the house itself, by a protruding entrance to the front door and by the fairly
high walls, pines and tamerisks, all within 10 metres.
T. speciosum seems to be a zone 8 plant, so presumably well suited to us in Southern Italy. Does
anyone know where I can get one from in Europe?
We've tried a few jasmines on this wall, but they're always a little disappointing. Would you have any
other climber suggestions for this wall?
