Same here. Gophers even got my beautiful 'Bonica' rose planted unprotected
on my hill. Most of my garden is in raised beds with hardware cloth on the
bottom. But gee.......one can't be limited to 4X8s totally. I plant
everywhere and cross my fingers.
Just planted an Eisenhower Green Ash Tree to shade the garage and pray that
it doesn't get chewed on.
