The more vigorous (fast growing) Carex can be scalped with good
results. Setting them on fire might work as well.

I seem to be dealing with alot of barber shop plants these days....
Anyone comb their carex? I remember hearing somewhere that a
great way to get rid of dead carex leaves is to go through the
plant with a fine tooth comb. Does it work? Anything that works
better? As I recall, carex don't regenerate nicely after a
scalping.
