Hello all.
I'm having some questions about both Stachys citrinia (plants came from
Canyon Creek Nursery) and a Sideritis phlomoides from a Czech collector.
I'm still not able to distinguish the two, outside of having the later
winter over, and of course I have seen neither in flowers. Having opted
largely for seeds and plants over literature, can anyone help me as to
whether these are the same plant or not, and furthermore, why they are
failing to flower even in the second years?
I am also curious about a "Salvia keptaghensis* (sic?) that was featured
on a program, that was in the garden of the originators of Marshwood
lavendar. It looked superficially much lke S. sclarea,
but I often see the name "keptaghensis" in literature. Can anyone help
illuminate this matter as well?
Many thanks!
Great gardening!
