Hi Moira -

I always enjoy seeing your posts - so thoughtful and informational.

I found this on the Web:

"Burrendong Arboretum is 25 Kms from Wellington overlooking Lake Burrendong.
The arboretum is open every day. For enquiries, contact the curator on (02)
6846 7454 or write to the Burrendong Arboretum, Mumbil via Wellington, N.S.W
2820, Fax (02) 6846 7454"

So it sound like there is also a Wellington in N.S.W. - not hard for a
foriegn editor to mistake that for N.Z. perhaps.

I find so many mistakes in books all of the time, usually my eye finds
inaccurate botanical latin caption under plant photos (I seem to be able
to 'tell' the differences between plants rather easily, even if I'm not
sure what they are myself). It must be completely nerve-racking to
edit books, chasing down thousands of details. And then they are finally
printed only to reveal those mistakes missed - now in print for
posterity!!! Perhaps why I've never published!! ;-)
