Janet, There are some blueberry varieties called "rabbiteyes" which are grown in the southeastern part of US. I don't know if they need so many hours of chilling or not. What are your miniumum temps in Crete. We grow the regular blueberries which can take temps as low as -23 C. I have a thirty year old bush in my yard. Unfortunately it is now in a shady area. Blueberries do need an acid soil. Al Krismer Cincinnati Ohio USA Zone 6 Minimumtemps -18 to -23 C.
