I hope that didn't out wrong-- I wasn't trying to slam anyone. But I have
strong feelings about avoiding chemical herbicides and insecticides when
possible, and run a mostly-organic yard and an all-organic vegetable garden
as a personal choice. The boiling water thing works realm, really well.
The only problem is that you have to run back and forth with pans of boiling
water..... Every now and then I set up the camp stove in the back yard and
heat up water that way.
