One of my prettiest tree peonies is one that I got for $6.95 at the
local home improvement store 10 years ago. This spring it will have
over 30 blooms but is only about 3 ft tall by 3 ft wide. You can
use it any place you might place a small shrub. You can add extra
interest during the rest of the year by planting one of the less
rambunctious clematis at the base, letting it climb through the
branches and blooming during the remainder of the summer.
