I really can't give you good advice, since the one I bought earlier
this year is my first. when I purchased it, it was potted in
a 1/2 gal nursery pot (with the bottom cut out) and that was sitting
in a gal. nursery pot.... it looked like a stick, however in a short
while I noticed it was putting on green. I sat mine in the ground
the first day of March and it had one bloom. I really can't tell
that it has grown any, but it's still alive and looks healthy, so I'm gonna
keep it and pray..... I have mine in light shade with a tiny
bit of morning sun
there is a picture of the one that I have at the link below and
a lot of information on planting and caring for the plant.
the thing I wanted to tell you is when I was ready to plant it,
the root was growing all the way into the gal container. I dug a
hole about 18 in wide and deep and had to dig deeper
when I discovered the root was so long.
I must have done something right "what" I don't know,
but it's alive for now. of course that could change anytime........
I say go for it. for 10.00 you can't go wrong
IMO.
