Personally, IMHO, I think so many people use Round-Up is b/c of all the
advertising they do! Not only the agricultural product but also the home-use
product. Advertising sells and makes us more receptive the product. But it
is more expensive and, I suspect, the local nursery makes a little more money
on it too. And its easy to sell b/c its well-known.
I like using Spectracide or Eliminator b/c I know within a day or 2 what I
missed. I try to hit the worst/largest of the weeds, then go back and get
the smaller stuff. Easier to keep from hitting the "Good Stuff." And seeing
the weeds die practically b4 my eyes gives me a great deal of
Ssatisfaction!!! In this "instant" society, I am amazed Round-Up hasn't
gotten up-to-date with the times.
