My Angelica bloomed the second year and died. Had a lot of seeds
though. It takes a couple of years to get a blooming plant again.
The Joe-Pye-Weed is about 6 feet for me unless I tip it in early July.
I have seen it short (3') with larger heads but it was at a nursery in
their display garden. Mine is not that large bloom size but the
butterflies really love that plant. I am going to try a little
fertilizer just to see if I can get a larger head.
