Hi Cindy.
Not an expert like others on this list... but my ribbon grass is
in a sunny location. It does get seed heads and also provides a pinky
stripes in the spring and fall. The seeds don't seem to be a problem.
Mine will jump out of a buried pot and end up everywhere.. although they
just continue on.. growing in a larger area, not reseeding all over the
darn yard. Not sure just what it would do in your zone.
