Barb:
Does that mean that hunters who eat the meat of the deers in your area could
get the disease, too??? If so, that could be a law suit just a waiting to
happen. Haven't heard of this disease around here, but I don't subscribe to
a paper any longer.
The deer here - are horrible. I can't believe all the deer I see laying on
the sides of the roads here - especially since the tractor trailers use the
main route below me and at night I can hear the trucks changing gears to get
up this steep mountain. I see that the deer have been nibbling at my
daylilies. I have to get some kind of fence up again.
Spotted two large herds the other night while coming home. Since we have
corn fields all around us the deer have a picnic here. But it is getting
too built up for hunters as we just had another four homes put up this past
year. Ticks are out now as Chloe my dog had one on a few weeks ago. Have
to be very careful with the grandkids.
It is cold here again in the 40's and 30's. Raining again and I've
uncovered some of my perennials this past week. Just a few daffs blooming
and the blood root is blooming now. It has actually self-seeded itself
around my yard and was really surprised so will be moving a lot of it to a
new bed.
