Mostly right...Labrador is on the mainland. (Newfoundland is an island). My husband spent several years in Goose Bay, Labrador when his father was in the Air Force. Says the snow really was like that, and the kids had a wonderful time in it!

Only stupid questions are those which remain unasked, as the
saying goes. Labrador is in NE Canada, on the Atlantic coast,
east of Quebec; the nothern part of Newfoundland (I think).
