Photo of my double bloodroot. Mine came from old Wayside catalog when I began gardening some 30 plus years ago. Nice size patch that I dig on every 3rd or 4th year for the nursery. Or did. Nursery is no longer.

Mine looked very much like Chris’ photo. I can’t get a photo now as the leaves have grown up and the buds that are left are hiding below.  They were closed when I picked them to count petals.  I did find this pic from 2006 though.
