this will work- But cuttings of last years growth taken in the spring will
root easly, Just aply some rooting compound to it and put it in a 50/50
mixture of sand or perlite and peat moss. You will get some callus growth in a
few weeks and roots after that.
P.S. keep your container in a plastic bag and out of direct sun.
