I was always under the assumption that the daturas were up-facing and
bushy.  The brugmansias are trees that have larger trumpet flowers that
hang downwards from the branches.  I know that they are in the same family,
but they are visually much different.

I have seen smaller catalogs where these two were listed interchangeably;
however I have seen them listed separately in T&M, Logee's, White Flower
Farm, etc.
