Yes, they are lovely, aren't they. They used to be grouped with the
anemones at one time, but now have their own genus- and there are quite a
number of species, although only a few are readily available. I believe
they are good reproducers too. The purples and reds are quite striking, but
you should see if you can get a couple of whites as well.
And they do seem to die down over the summer even up here in zone 4.
