Re: "Heronswood" book

Treated myself to this one and highly recommend it, particularly for
those with shady gardens, since many of the genera described will
grow well in varying degrees of shade. A lovely book all the way
around. Dan Hinkley is as good a writer as he is a plantsman; I
really enjoy his subtle sense of humor and the photos are excellent.
I sat down and read it cover to cover, but it can also be viewed as
an excellent reference and chapters read when the spirit moves you.
