Gene - I like the 'garden room' concept too, tho' ours seemed to just
evolve, rather than being planned deliberately.  Now that I'm facing a
new property and building gardens from scratch again, on 4 acres rather
than 2 city lots, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the whole re-design
concept.  We want to keep some of our favorite features - a bench for
sitting near the cottage/rose garden, birdbaths, archways, - but a lot
of new concepts are needed - more sun, more space, less constriction
from existing buildings, sidewalks, etc.  It will be an adventure,
certainly.  The importance of pathways can't be overstated!
