Re: physostegia

I put in the variegated Physostegia only last year, and they flowered
very sparsely;

this year, the leaves have been up for a long time, but there's no sign
of blossoms, and the plants haven't filled out at all, but that could be
due to the lack of rain here in NYS zone 5.

I also put in Helenium (Sp.?) last year, and this year they came into
blossom in July (instead of August as the tag says), but what bloom!
Gorgeous, especially because they happen to be next to some very
brilliant orange-red day lilies, which also bloomed very profusely.
