Re: Interest in Late blooming daylilies

You daylily afficianados:

Mine have all finished blooming and the leaves are looking pretty sad. I
noticed that Tracy DiSabato's book recommends whacking them down and
letting nice clean foliage grow. What I want to know is, if I do this
every year, are the daylilies going to decline in blooming after having
to spend energy growing more foliage? Do any of you all do this and
what's your experience?
