RE: dahlias, again

Claire,
It's hot here again too. 95 yesterday, 100 today, 95 tomorrow. Then
(hopefully) to drop to the low 80's. I have never been able to find the
degree symbol on windows keyboard either. What a glaring omission! I use
"F" instead.
Pardon me while I go lay on a cake of ice. We pacific northwesterners
never get used to 90+ temps! (Guess I should speak for myself)

BTW, does anyone know know how to use the termperature degree symbol on
Windows? I have been seeing it lately and have not found it on my panel of
symbols. It is used commonly on posts generated from outside the US. I am
on
the Clivia list and posts generated from Australia and South Africa use this
symbol. There is much interesting horticultural acrivity there plus you can
purchase seeds that are phyto-pure sent to the US.
