I'm not sure if it's my imagination but it never seems to me that watering
really gets the ground as wet as rain. I measure an inch from the sprinkle
and it doesn't really seem to wet the ground. Also, I remember reading that
water doesn't really go sideways in the ground--does anyone know if that's
true, or did I imagine it? Judy Warner
