OT: Pecan-hickory difference?

Last fall I planted some pecan nuts in one place and hickory nuts in
another. The name tags disappeared during winter. The seedlings look very
much the same. Is there any way I can tell them apart at this stage? I would
like to plant them out in their permanent positions before the tap roots
grow too long.
