Hi Donna,
This is a very nice groundcover. I have had mine for 4 years now. This spring,
with all the rain, it was a good foot tall. Now, being so dry, it is still doing
well, but laying down more. In the spring it is covered with the flowers you see
in the picture. There will be flowers all summer, but not near as numerous as in
the spring. I have an area that is about 10' x 4' that started out as 3 or 4
plants. This year, for the first time it has apparently reseeded. I found several
plants many feet away from "Mom". It has also held the weeds at bay. Yea!!
Although not as healthy looking, it is evergreen for me - meaning it doesn't
disappear. It gets a slight purplish cast to it during the winter.
