When summer is coming to an end, the writing spider can be found doing
her thing. She is an attractive critter and does a lot of good catching
enough food for her and to for her babies. As a child we were always
told that it was bad luck if she wrote your name. You know, death.
Well, you will be safe if your name is not wwwwwwww or zzzzz. I love to
share that with all the younger visitors to my garden. I only kill the
black widow spiders and that is because we have so many and they can do
damage to anyone bitten.
