Hello Beth,
We had a very bad invasion of horsetail here in my garden. Nothing would
get rid of the stuff. Everything we seemed to do only encouraged it to take
over more territory. JoAn took pure roundup, an eyedropper and pair or
scissors our one day and sat on a bucket in the middle of it all. Took the
scissors and cut the stems one at a time. Each hollow tube she filled with
roundup using the eyedropper. They were dead by the 3rd day... all the way
into the roots and runners dead. Have not had a single appearance of
horsetail since and that was about 3 or 4 years back.
