Donna Donna Donna....Tomatoes are perennial. I've had em in a green house for 3 years and I have seen photoes (pun) of plants in Italy that grew to the roof and down the other side and rooted in again that had to be very old. Just we can't do that does mean they arent. I bet Burgmansia are annual in Alaska.

well it appears this list is way OT for various reasons... like why are we talking tomatoes? This is a Perennial list.... Folks might want to check out the other hort.net mailing lists, I am sure there is something for everyone there. And to keep this somewhat on topic... many of us have been in the drought/high temps un-season like for this neck of the woods. So what perennial survived the best, put on the best show, or had an interesting development because of it.
