Daylily question: I know it looks nicer if you remove the spent blossoms daily, but does it make any different to the culture and health of the plant?the only time it might make a difference is if you had lots of seed pods set on the plant. I know several hybridizers that swear it weakens the plant to the point of not blooming the following year. While one or two makes little difference, they are usually talking about 20+ pods allowed to go all the way to nearly splitting.
