It's so hot the Robins are using pot holders to get the worms out of the ground!
But my flowers are awesome! I don't understand, they've never looked better. I have Malva, tall white veronica, daylilies (of course), rudbeckia, monarda, heliopsis, achillia, and the best magenta phlox I've ever had. I haven't even watered. Maybe the humidity and the thunderstorms have been enough.
So what perennial survived the best, put on the best show, or had an interesting development because of it.
