The funding I was referring to was for the County Extension Service, NOT for
Master Gardeners. But of course we as MGs benefit in the long run from CES.
Here in Indiana, when a MG group/organization withdraws from affiliation
with the county, they are considered a garden club. They can very well be a
garden club that is made up of MGs, but the organization is not official.
One just has to go back and read the definition of a Master Gardener. Purdue
has taken steps to redefine the logo and requirements to use the name,
Master Gardener.
