RE: Shade Perennials

Hi Gene,
I've had this yellow bloomer for 10+ years now. I might have to find Milk Chocolate, I have all sorts of other plants named "Chocolate".

	There is a "sudden" new interest in breeding of perennial foxglove.
Quite a few named hybrids on the market in the last couple years or so. Last
year our favorite was D. Goldcrest... a peachy yellow. We grew from seed a
new one named D. Milk Chocolate this year. Both to go with the grandiflora
that has been in the garden for years now.

I do have one thing that  seems to thrive in the dry part shade -
Greek Foxglove was the name I was given it when I got it from a
fellow gardener. It a tall flowering stalk with smallish yellow to
tan flowers. The one or two plants have become many and shared around
widely.
