In my experience, a nursery/company may be good for one type of plant but
not others.  Example:  Van Bourgondiens - very good for most bulbs, but
avoid their perennials if possible.  Jackson & Perkins - good roses, but
again, perennials not generally as good.  Brecks, as I recall, is pretty
much all bulbs and they are, for the most part, OK.

Remember, however, that there can be great variety in the quality of what
you get.  Last year, Consumer Reports was comparing mail-order nurseries,
ordered from material (a clematis, I believe) from the dreaded Michigan
Bulb Co.
, and actually claimed to have received a quality plant.  They then
proceeded to give Michigan Bulb a good rating.  HA!
